This Google connection is for the private ledger owner's use. Updated 14 September 2026.

Gmail

Gmail read-only permission allows the application to read messages and attachments. Motor Ledger uses this access to find vehicle documents, import supported attachments for review and show their original emails. This permission does not allow the application to send, delete or modify email through the Gmail API.

Google Drive

The backup connection requests permission to create and manage files used by the application. Ledger backup content is encrypted before upload to the owner's Google Drive.

Storage and use

Imported documents and source metadata are retained in the owner's private ledger. Original email text can be fetched from Gmail when the owner opens it. OAuth credentials are stored privately, outside the source code and this public website.

Records may also be available through the owner's configured Google mirror, connected assistants or documents the owner chooses to share. Motor Ledger does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Disconnecting and retention

The owner can revoke the Motor Ledger connection in Google Account connections. Revoking access does not automatically erase documents already imported, financial audit history, copies or backups. The owner controls those records through the ledger and the storage accounts holding them.

This website and contact

This information website has no sign-in, forms or application analytics. Its hosting provider processes ordinary web requests. For questions about the connection or retained information, contact the ledger owner using the support email shown on Google's consent screen.
